MANUAL HANDLING TRAINING focused on Construction Sites

Course Introduction

Handling, Lifting and Carrying still account for 21% (equivalent to 116,500 injuries) of all workplace injuries in the UK. In addition, 35% of work-related ill health cases (equivalent to 490,000 cases) relate to musculoskeletal disorders to which Manual Handling is one of the contributing factors. Considering the relatively high number of Manual Handling related injuries, long-term ill health cases and legal requirements under Manual Handing Regulations, it has become almost essential for everyone in the workplace to have the appropriate training in Manual Handling.

This Manual Handling training course focuses heavily on hands-on demonstration and exercises to help attendees to learn safe methods, techniques and strategies in a practical manner to avoid Manual Handling injuries at work.
