Control of Asbestos Regulations (CAR) 2012 require owners, occupiers, landlords, employers and managers to ensure the risk of exposure to Asbestos Containing Materials (ACMs) to their tenants, lease holders, employees, contractors, visitors and general public is reduced and managed. On construction sites (especially for buildings / structures constructed or refurbished between 1950 and 1985) the likelihood of asbestos present is high. It has become almost essential for anyone who works in construction and other relevant sectors to have training in asbestos awareness. This training course is solely focused on the construction industry and other relevant sectors covering the wide range of asbestos risk management from initial site survey visits by design professionals to trade and specialist contractors working on construction sites or carrying out regular repair and maintenance of buildings/structures. This training course is intended for designers and consultants (architects, structural / civil engineers, building services engineers, building surveyors, project managers etc) and construction site professionals (site engineers, managers, supervisors, operatives etc) and trade and specialist construction contractors.
